I’m voyaging toward the balmy blue waters of the Maldives with my partner in crime from the 14th to 28th of July. During this time I am attempting my first ever TRUE digital detox. No email. No trawling social channels (my fave!!!) and no blogging at all.
I’m foreseeing a magical calm and reversal of computer induced squinty eye wrinkles (As if! I’m thinking more about just having a holiday with cocktails and finding Nemo with m’snorkel!)
Please come back and see me at the end of the month for some great exclusives we have lined up to share from local brands PLUS the launch of our limited edition new TEAM.WORK collaboration project with ALAS. EG…those pj’s below.
PS – if I cave it will be on Snapchat so you can join me there: “studiohome”
I’m excited to be introducing you to Edith Rewa! In all honesty, I’m pretty besotted with her work!!!
Edith is heavily inspired by the native Australian bush the surrounds her home in the Blue Mountains. However, the fact she also has ” ….. one toe in Hobart and the other in Melbourne” allows her work to stray beyond a canvas to, what really are, some of my favourite silk scarves ever! The one below is most definitely going to be skipping the Tasman to live with me soon…
Please take some time to explore botanical beauty with Edith or simply to put your credit card to work!

These images are just a tiny glimpse into the incredible visual dream land created by internationally renowned (Wellington) photographer; Amber Griffin.
While her portfolio is full of dynamic, crisp moments of movement from all levels of dancer, her recent project with some of New Zealand’s elite contemporary and ballet dancers is breathtaking!
With a gold medal at the recent World Photographic Cup in France, Amber has been touring her ethereal work including an exhibition in Auckland (closing on the April 2nd !!) at Exhibitions Gallery in Newmarket.

New Zealand brides – you’re lucky….it’s finally happened!
I am really happy to introduce you to the Together Journal, a brand new magazine that finally shines a light on our local weddings, vendors and industry with a super fresh eye for curation and inspiration.
The quality of this publication came of no surprise to me after I learnt that it was born under the creative direction of top wedding photographer; Greta Kenyon. Having worked with Greta myself a number of times I can vouch for her beautiful aesthetic, knowledge base and attention to detail. This is TOTALLY reflected in her choice of team members to bring the journal to life, the content for the debut issue and right down to the choice of beautiful paper stock to complete the package.
“It really just came from the simple idea that there was a space for something new and unique in the market,” says founder Greta Kenyon. “Together Journal offers a fresh take on weddings – the kinds of weddings that we and our friends and their friends wanted to have and were seeking inspiration for”.
I have no doubt Together Journal will strike a chord with so many of you and from today it is available nationwide in selected supermarkets, book stores and more – check out the stockists here.
Scroll on down to see a glimpse behind the cover AND learn how you can win a precious Zoe and Morgan necklace!

YES!! Its a collab fest. I can’t wait to share it all with YOUUUU!
Prepare yourselves …. as I can foresee more than a few tape measures being whipped out and stud heights considered to allow for these BEAUTIFUL chandeliers!
I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the world of Klaylife – their impressive and unique collection combined with the story of their production.
Powered by a Melbourne based family, the beads and chandeliers are hand made by local women in the South African Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal. Initially, the chandeliers were crafted by local women whose lives had been impacted by HIV and desperately needed an income to support their families. Over time, as Klaylife grew in popularity, more and more women with differing circumstances came on board. In 2012, 8 ladies were permanently employed. There are now over 65 dedicated women rolling beads and creating their own work of art.
Take your time to explore their website and designs and yes! They having shipping down pat!
