Its been a while since we last checked in with the latest from Miss Glass Home – the Australian designers of the MOST attractive clothes airers on the planet!!
Designer Siobhan Glass has continued to focus on beautiful products for the home and laundry by pulling beautiful products from around the world to exclusively stock online. Not only that, new from her own studio are the hand sculpted wooden “heads” ready to look after your headwear at the end of a busy day!
Take a browse at the whole collection here. Unfortunately, at the moment the stands aren’t available to be shipped to NZ…but watch this space!

The kiwi designers behind Made of Tomorrow live and breath the minimalist, sleek and clean aesthetic that is so obviously the basis of their collections. Never limited to designing within a particular genre, they have swooped off to refine and define their own tastes when it comes to furniture – starting with the very cool new FOLD range.
Available in two sizes and three colours, these strong and perfectly finished shelves are subtle but special pieces that could slip into all sorts of living/working spaces.

Oh Ink and Spindle – reliably beautiful and always recognisable.
I’ve followed this studio for yeeeaaarrrssss. Stopped by for an interview in Melbourne, witnessed a change in guard of designers, the juggle of growing families and yet, every new collection is as unique yet typical of their seemingly endless inspiration drawn from native their Australia.

It’s a satisfying thing to watch the rise of a design company especially when they kick off with such a strong aesthetic and without wavering grow that, avoiding the need to strike off constantly in different directions. Australian based Tuckbox Design are a terrific example of that to me especially when, yet again, another new product lands in my inbox and I could almost pick it was theirs without reading the email!
TRUSS is both a table and a “system” as such that allows customers to order to the specific size table or bench that they need and the Tuckbox team and respond by simply adding more of the structural components to acheive this. Take some time to explore this product (plus all their others!) here and don’t hesitate to touch base with them to find out more!

Aside from his wide ranging collection of furniture and lighting, David regularly works on custom fit outs for a variety of commercial level projects not to mention ongoing design work for Citta!
I love his distinctly “smooth” lined aesthetic that feels so modern while still maintaining a softness. Explore more from this leader in NZ design here PLUS his stockists!
