My favourite vintage item is a brooch that has a tiny braid of hair from one of my ancestors, surrounded by amethyst gems. Sounds gross but it’s very cool

  2. Katie says:

OOh, easy peasy, my fav is a 70’s possum fur trimmed red coat my mum saved for me. Oh so lucious

  3. Naomi says:

My most treasured vintage item is my great-grandmother’s engagement ring. It’s only paste (they were a bit poor) but it’s a bright blue sapphire surrounded by little diamonds, so beautiful and simple. It was passed down to me because my fingers are the only ones small enough to fit it. I don’t wear it often enough, it really deserves time on my fingers!

  4. Ann Sculley says:

My favourite vintage piece i have is a pink coloured cameo brooch my mum gave me when i was ten , it is my special treasure , my 6 year old daughter loves to look at it ,it will belong to her eventually when she grows up 🙂

  5. Sarah Spencer says:

My most special vintage piece are the gold square heeled sandals my granny wore to my parents wedding. They are ADORABLE! The vintage piece that gets most wear time though is a sparkly scarf holder that I’ve rigged up as a necklace LOVE shiny things…!

  6. Erica says:

My favourite vintage treasure is always stowed away in my purse. Its a Saint Christopher medal about the size of a fifty cent piece. It used to be my Pops, he passed it on to my Mum and now its in my hands. I always think of my Pop when I see it. Its travelled everywhere with me from school excursions back in highschool, family holidays and has even road tripped to Northern territory and back with me.

  7. Nicole says:

My most treasured vintage item is a collection of costume jewellery from my grandmother, who passed away when my mother was young. While, it might not get a lot of wear and some of it is a little broken, it holds a special place in my heart!

  8. Kristen says:

Gosh, I have so many favourites! At the moment my most treasured is the my set of 50’s Meakin ‘South Seas’ plates, in glorious 50’s pastel colours. I purchased them from Retrosheila in Coollangatta and were transported safely back to NZ in hand luggage. I use them most days, the colours make me smile, (and they are not allowed anywhere near the dishwasher or microwave!)

  9. Jen Stewart says:

My most used and favourite vintage piece is my sewing machine! I inherited it from my mum & it is still going strong and I use it practically every day.

  10. Louise says:

My favourite treasure is my 1969 Bernina, in mint green. It was a house warming gift from my aunty, who had it given to her when she was younger. It’s got the most beautiful case, and has fixed all my favourite dresses.

  11. Krystal KC says:

Eeep I don’t know if I can pick just one, I love vintage goodies 🙂 The first one that comes to mind that I treasure is my very first & only vintage polaroid camera. We were driving past a garage sale in Hervey Bay a few months back, & I had some ‘strange’ feeling we should stop & have a looksie. Within 5 minutes of browsing, I saw it peeking out from under some blankets. I immediately snapped it up, for only $2.00!! It even has its original bag & everything 🙂 It now sits in a special spot on my craft desk 🙂

  12. My fav vintage item is my Nana’s crystal collection – not worth much but has a lot of sentimental value. She also passed down all of her vintage gloves which she bought while working in a glove making factory about 60 years ago! I still wear most of them. They are fab! Thanks for the giveaway!

  13. Lizzie says:

I just adore vintage objects that have a sense of being loved also by someone else. Pretty much anything in my family that needs a new home ends up with me but I have to say that my favourite is my 1940’s feather eiderdown that is a gorgeous minty green brocade that my Grannie handed down to me. Snuggling up under it is just the best.

  14. Jessica says:

My favourite vintage/retro item that I own is my old vinyl record rack stands – they look great filled with inspirational magazines!

  15. Steph says:

My favourite vintage item is a beautiful old brown leather pilot’s case satchel (a box type satchel with a flat square base)- I found it in an op-shop for only $10, and it’s the perfect place to store my fabric and floss for craft projects I am working on.

I already like both on FB! My most favourite vintage item must be my elephant bukle belt, I got it when I was vintage shopping at just 11 years old! 17 years later I still wear it, altough it only fits around my waist now!
