Welcome to the first of two rich posts documenting the recent New Zealand Kinfolk dinners hosted once again by photographer Greta Kenyon and florist/stylist; Shaye Woolford. Around the world on the 11th of October, people sat down to enjoy intimate meals in beautiful settings inspired by the concept of “Wabi Sabi”. I was lucky enough to attend the glowing Auckland gathering hosted by Greta and her team in the secret courtyard of Mondays Wholefoods.
With just 20 guests in total we were treated to a simply luscious menu of food and drink that still lingers in my taste bud memories even now! In short; the team at our service absolutely knocked it out of the park! At the bottom of the post is a full linked list of those clever people including the local suppliers whose products topped off the entire experience.
I could attempt to describe the dinner in detail but wouldn’t be able to communicate it better than the stunning documentation by Greta Kenyon below or the great little film of the evening by Ben Journee of Side Project.
I hope you are able to draw some inspiration for your own rustic gathering!
