Klim Type Foundry

I spotted a title on his site reading: “Why Type?” The answer, quite simply , below:

Kris Sowersby is the young guy behind the fantastic typography factory of Klim. I found him via Idealog (my new bible!) and fell in love with his website just this morning. There is something kind of secret and special looking through someones visual diary, watching their design process unfold…and Kris has PAGES of his displayed! I’ve decided that they would be fantastic framed up as an artwork. What was weird too was checking out his beautiful portfolio of finished work and realising that I have seen his carefully crafted type all over the show through the NZ media. Definitely a must visit site if you have abit of a type fetish OR if you are tempted to commission your very own custom designed alphabet! In Kris’s words “If you need something that is typographic by nature, then I am at your service. “

Hey, Ju 🙂 Oy, it’s been a bit since I’ve been around what with the new job – but so happy to be back perusing! Lovely things as usual! This type is SO fantastic!!! I’m a font nut and this would be wonderful to add to my collection. Sad that it’s a custom job 🙁 because I’d snatch it up in a heartbeat!
