……

This is brand spanking news from my email just this morning but I wanted to leap on it and share on the off chance any of you (Melbourne + beyond based) people are about to make important decisions on an event/wedding/gathering!!

Two creative forces who I’ve had the pleasure to hang out with and watch at work – have combined their extreme powers of aesthetics to form Local Gatherings, an event design collaboration specialising in intimate gatherings of any size.

Stephanie Stamatis (known to 133K people on instagram as Stephanie Somebody) is a designer who has an unrivaled eye for the natural, textural and pared back… she has made simple details an artform. Sarah Cooper is the force behind The Brainery Store which for the past year has toured regional Victoria presenting inspiring speakers to excited, creative audiences. I spent time with them both here.

With some weddings, dinners and two beautiful Kinfolk gatheringsĀ under their belt it seems an obvious move in my mind that Local Gatherings has now been formed. Visit their brand new site for more from their past work and details on how they can create the best gathering to suit you and your people!
