Tête-à-Tête incendere

Tête-à-Tête incendre - scented candles inspired by pivotal moments in cinematic history.
New to the highly competitive scented candle market down under is Tête-à-Tête incendere by Korean born, NZ raised and Australian based perfumer; Vicki Kim. Having studied at Parsons School of Art in New York, Vicki has interned and worked for luxury, design focussed business such as W Magazine, Burberry, Opening Ceremony and Cartier.
It was on her relocation to Australia in 2010 that she started hashing out the bones of her own entry into the luxury market and Tête-à-Tête incendere took form!

Each Tête-à-Tête incendere candle is inspired by iconic cinematic moments and the
consequential scents that various characters, locations and events can evoke.
The initial collection of 3 scents are inspired by the room in which Mrs Robinson first tries to seduce Benjamin Braddock in “The Graduate“, “Satis House“; the sprawling home of Ms Haversham in Great Expectations and “Meishans Room” from Raise the Red Lantern.

No I haven’t had my nose up close to one yet but I am most certainly attracted to the fresh, sexy angle that Vicki has come up with !
