The super clever team of minds, hands, eyes and skills behind The Periodic have struck again – this time with a lush edition focused on “home”. Dismantling the usual magazine structure, they have taken different rooms as inspiration for each section of the journal. They concentrate on what each room provides for us during the cooler months, and how we can fully realise its offerings.
This issue, amongst others; they meet natural textile designer Marta Buda, uniform maker Matt Nash, houseboat resident Astra Rushton, and the sisters behind Coco’s Cantina, with their lush family gardens. Each possess an independent force that is inspiring our local culture.
With a firm opinion that home is where the heart is, the pages embrace the fact that life is messy, unstyled and a work in progress!
