what once was

Tuesday marked the second anniversary of the September quake in Christchurch. That was the one that surprised the bejesus out of the whole region and caused significant damage but no fatalities. No one knew that such aggressive fault lines lay beneath this old city. Following the much more destructive and disastrous quake of February 2011, artist Mike Hewson bought some beautiful bandages to some of the irreparable buildings. I think these are just amazing.
